March 2005 | Clinical partners of Ovesco Endoscopy GmbH win prize at German Endoscopy conference 2005

Research conducted with products developed by Ovesco Endoscopy wins prize by the German Society for Endoscopy and Imaging Procedures at the 35th annual meeting held in Stuttgart, Germany, March 10-12th 2005.
Dr. Andreas Kirschniak and coauthors, Anatomy Institute, Eberhard-Karls University, Tuebingen, Germany, were honored for their research on the OTSC endoscopic clipping system for endoscopic treatment of bleeding and perforations in the GI tract.

Research conducted with products developed by Ovesco Endoscopy receives the second Innovation Award by the Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (SMIT) at the 2004 annual meeting held in Rome, Italy, December 16-18, 2004.
Dr. Andreas Kirschniak and coauthors, Anatomy Institute, also of Eberhard-Karls University, were honored for their research on the OTSC endoscopic clipping system and application devices.

Ovesco starts research programme into new product derivatives based on its OTSC® platform technology.
This includes new indications for the existing product range as well as new OTSC® system designs.

Ovesco Endoscopy GmbH receives EN ISO 13485:2003 certification as a medical device manufacturer and EN ISO 9001:2000 certification.
