Upper GI, non-variceal bleeding is an urgent condition in flexible endoscopy.
Especially severe bleeding can still be a problem with other available endoscopic techniques.
Also hemorrhage induced by interventions such as snare resection or ESD can be critical.
OTSC® can be applied at the hemorrhage site and compresses the tissue with appropriate strength after the clip is released from the endoscope cap.
